Happy Halloween!

Tomorrow is Halloween and we are having a pumpkin carving contest at work. I decided to enter the contest but then didn't really want to do the pumpkin. Casey to the rescue! Casey came over and helped his Grammy out. I did all the dirty work - you know - the seeds and the cleaning of the inside of the pumpkin. Casey planned his design and then - the execution! We decided that our pumpkin needed hair so Casey tested it out before using it on the pumpkin. We took a break to enjoy a big bowl of Kirby's chili (Ma's Chili)which he made today while working on the fireplace and getting ready to install the new stove. Then it was back to the pumpkin. After looking at the finished product, Casey christened him - "Crazy Bob". Sure hope we win!!!

  1. I like Bob's nose.
But having your grandson do all the carving and you only doing the lobotomy part is sort of like doing your kid's homework, isn't it?
HA HA HA !!!!! Have fun :)

  2. Casey sure had a great time carving the pumpkin with his Grammy. He was up late and up early again this morning finishing his homework. Good luck!

  3. Poor ole "Crazy Bob" had to be happy with just a nice evening on the porch greeting the children - no prizes this year!
